The Israeli Air Force has resumed their flights along the Lebanese-Syrian border recently after stalking this region several times last week.
According to a source in Damascus, the Israeli Air Force flew along the Lebanese-Syrian border after entering southern Lebanon from Upper Galilee this morning.
While the Israeli Air Force did not enter Syria, the Syrian military still raised their alert levels in order to prepare their air defense for any potential conflict in the western part of the country.
The reason for concern is because the Israeli Air Force often takes this flight route when they launch attacks in Syria’s Damascus and Homs provinces.
Last week, the Syrian military said that a number of missiles were fired towards the Damascus Governorate town of Al-Kiswah after the Israeli Air Force conducted a similar flight in eastern Lebanon.
The Syrian military later said that all of the enemy missiles were shot down before they could reach their intended targets.
