If she got the SMALLEST piece of feedback on her monitors, she would fire the sound engineer responsible. My friend was like only 1 of 4 sound guys her entire career she did not fire. She fired close to 500 sound guys in her career. If you worked with her as a member of her road crew, your A game just had to be on point. Anyone who could work for Aretha and not get fired was pretty much a made person in the music business and she DID launch a good number of careers.

I considered them bigot because they honored a gay guy nane Liberace who died of Aids and a few others but when it came down to her they consider her another black person.
