New Way to Subscribe: STRIPE! (No need for Paypal anymore!)

As promised late last year, after upgrading this web site to SSL (Secure) I have adopted a new way to subscribe WITHOUT USING PAYPAL.  "Stripe" is now part of the payment system on this web site and it can accommodate ANY major credit card from ANY country!

Those wishing to subscribe now that they are not forced to use Paypal, can do so HERE

WHY SUBSCRIBE?

This web site is changing from a mostly-public (free) news source, to a mostly-subscriber site.  It HAS to be this way.

The information made available on this web site routinely (but not always) comes from sources that I have from my years as a national security intelligence asset with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force.

I spent 15 years with FBI, from 1993 - 2008.  My final five years, with the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF).

As a national security intelligence asset I was also granted "extra-territorial authority" by the Office of Intelligence at FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC because I was tasked to travel outside the USA to protect the nation.

In those years, I developed close relationships with other people in the Intelligence Community; some with the foreign government equivalent of our CIA, some with foreign military, many with foreign Law Enforcement.

Even though my government work came to an end in November, 2008,  I maintain contact with most of those former colleagues to this very day.

As such, I often get access to information that the mass-media never gets close to.  Some of it I am able to report.

When I make those reports, people from all over the world flock to this web site to get the latest, because it's "inside" stuff.  Therein lies the problem; I get blasted with Data Transfer costs for the tens-of-thousands of people who come to this site.

Even though they are routinely asked to make voluntary donations, few ever do.  Giving away free intel and not getting the costs covered is not a sustainable business model.

Therefore, after much thought, and much (bad) experience of trying to have faith in people to do the right thing and help out, I upgraded this site to SSL and decided that most of the content will be locked behind a paywall for subscribers.

Sadly, the upgrade to SSL caused a major problem with the subscriber database and that caused me to keep the site unlocked for a few days while we worked out those glitches.

Now that most (not all) of the troubles are worked out, it's time to start locking down the information for folks who carry their own weight instead of freeloading.

By subscribing Quarterly, your $1 a week, billed Quarterly ($13) helps sustain this endeavor.

Some prefer the $5 a month option, while others want only the audio archives for $10 a month.

In order to help fund the radio show on WBCQ, WRMI and KYAH, there's also a $25 monthly option for folks to be Radio Show Sponsors.

There are NO PAYING COMMERCIALS on the radio show - so the radical left-wing cannot organize "advertiser boycotts" to shut it down.  That means the folks who help with $25 a month, are literally supplying the FREEDOM OF SPEECH found on the radio show!

So please become a subscriber.  You'll get info faster than many other sources, and some info that other sources simply cannot get to you.  You'll also be helping assure this endeavor continues and the free speech radio show survives.

    Mr. Turner, Et Alia:

    You referred me to:

Unfortunately, that link uses only the PAY PAL option, which won't permit me to use my VISA card to donate.

    Thank you.

Hal I am hoping you will give us a donation page. No doubt many of us want to give you larger sums of money than the subscriptions. I'll keep checking. Thank you.

    Mr. Turner, Et Alia:

I just now signed up for a subscription, and wanted to also contribute an additional donation.

But, I can't find a way to make donations separate from the subscription service.

    Thank you.

    Hi Hal,

I'm waiting for you to get the bugs worked out. Once that task is realized, I suppose I may decide to chip in.
